New to the swap meet? Here are the most common questions, answered.
How does shipping work?
Shipping is paid by the buyer and priced by the weight of the item, which is the fairest way to do it, so you only pay for what your tool actually costs to ship. It's added to your private checkout link. Win more than one item? Add them all to your cart and check out together in a single order so they ship together and you only pay shipping once. We also offer a VIP priority shipping option: your order gets dropped at the post office ASAP and is prioritized ahead of standard orders. Everything ships after you complete checkout. All sales are final.
How do I bid?
Join the live stream every Monday at 5 PM. When a tool comes up, type your offer right in the live chat. A timer runs on screen and resets with every new bid. When it hits zero, CANOE counts it down live, and the highest bid takes it home. Late in the stream, faster items sell by typing the tool and your price, like "3/8th Snap-on ratchet - 45."
Do I need to pay to participate?
No. The swap meet is always free to watch, free to bid, and free to win. You only pay if you win an item and choose to check out. Memberships are completely optional and just an extra way to support the stream and grab some perks.
What if I win multiple items?
Email us after the stream and we'll send a private link for each win. Add them all to your cart and check out together in one order at the end. That way your items ship together and you only pay shipping once.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. International orders go out via USPS International or DHL, and the shipping cost is calculated and added at checkout. If you have a question about shipping to your country, just ask in your email.
How do I pay after winning?
Email fixingcanoe@gmail.com as soon as you win, and include a screenshot of your YouTube profile so we can verify you're the winning bidder. We'll reply with a private checkout link at your winning price, and you check out securely through our store. Best to claim as soon as possible.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Apple Pay, credit, and debit at checkout. For higher-ticket items, we also offer Affirm financing so you can pay over time. All payments are handled securely through our store.
Can I send in my own tools?
Yes. You can donate tools for CANOE to give away free on stream, or send in quality tools to be sold on stream and earn store credit when they sell. Ship to our PO box and email us first to discuss the details. See the Send in your tools section above for the address.
